How to access the WRITER AI Academy

You can access the learning center within WRITER or navigate to academy.writer.com. Select the three dot menu in the top right of WRITER and select Learn to access resources within the learning center. Select WRITER Academy from the learning center menu and then select open to launch the WRITER AI Academy in a new window.

Using the WRITER AI Academy

The top menu of the WRITER Academy gives you access to the following:

Home: Your launching point to search and browse available courses.
Learn: From this menu you get quick access to the full catalog of Online courses, Live workshops, and our comprehensive on-demand course to help you Get started with WRITER.
My learning: View the courses you've registered for, completed, or are working on. You can also access and share your WRITER credentials from this page.
WRITER login: Quickly access your WRITER account.
Search: Find learning resources quickly through AI-powered search.
Profile icon: Select this to view your WRITER AI Academy profile or sign out.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create a new username and password for the WRITER AI Academy?

No! Once you're logged into the regular WRITER app, you can use this link (or navigate to Learning > WRITER Academy) to enroll using your WRITER account. If you don't have a WRITER account you will need to create an AI Academy account to register and complete courses.

Do I have to have a WRITER account to access the WRITER AI Academy?

No, the academy is open to all. We do however recommend having access to WRITER so you can apply your learning as you go through our interactive courses.

Can I access the WRITER AI Academy if I only have access to AI Studio (for example, a developer account)?

Yes! The access instructions are the same: once you've logged into AI Studio, select Learning from your profile menu then select WRITER Academy and Open.

Can I access the WRITER AI Academy if I'm in the middle of a trial?

Yes! We strongly encourage using the AI Academy to get the most out of your trial period. The enrollment process is exactly the same. As long as you have access to a trial environment, you have access to the Academy.

Once logged into the academy, select My learning and scroll down until you see your courses and then select Add to profile.

I finished a course but the WRITER AI Academy says I didn't! What's going on?

Completing all content

Double check that you've actually completed all of the required content. From your profile view the Status column for the course in question, and select the course that is not marked as complete. In the top left corner, you'll see the course menu which displays a completion bar letting you know how much required content you've completed. This will show you which page you have not completed, select it and complete the content.

Note: Most videos require at least a partial viewing before they'll be marked as complete!
