Connect your Writer account to Zapier
To connect Writer to Zapier, you'll be asked to provide the following information:

You can find this information in Writer by going to the "Admin" menu, and then to "API." Select "Create account" under Service account to generate an API key. Your Organization ID is shown below the Service account section.

When using Writer in a Zap, you'll need to indicate Writer as the app you want to use, select "Send Prompt" as the event, and then connect your Writer account using your API key and Organization ID.

Lastly, in the Step details section, write the prompt you'd like to send to Writer. Below are 3 examples:
1. If you use labels in Gmail, respond to an email labeled as a sales email declining the offer and asking to unsubscribe. This zap connects Gmail and Writer. Reference the body of the email in the prompt you send to Writer.

2. See a great message in Slack that could be a social post? Send the message to Writer and get a draft Tweet sent back to you in Slack. Write the prompt to create a Tweet and reference the message from Slack in the prompt.

3. Need to keep track of tasks from messages in Slack? Send a message from Slack to Writer for summarization, and then send it to a to-do list. Write a summarization prompt and reference the message from Slack.
